AC Ryan STUDIO at Regroup 14 was a success. The first such event with live modding (and even overclocking) in a lanparty was well received by both modders & gamers. Besides the hosts Soefkenijn & Ribbi, modders _ferry_ (Modheadz.com) and Thadeez (Casejunkies.com) were enjoying modding their stuff during the STUDIO. Check out the pics. Meanwhile, gamers came and saw and asked. Some left with their gear modded or ;) airbrush artwork and clan-logos / nicknames were the favorite among the gamers. Tweakers.net overclockers Syngrow & Apen-nootjes came to support the STUDIO, overclocking with their phase change system that takes temperatures down to -40 degrees. XFX 7800GT, DFI motherboard, MSI motherboards, Intel Extreme Edition 3.46Ghz, AMD Opteron all came under the subzero temperatures.

AC Ryan Studio makes its debut at Regroup 14 - the lanparty not to be missed with more than 750 filled seats. We are happy to announce that Stichting Regroup has been very kind and supportive in providing AC Ryan Studio the space to beta test this new format - a live modding event for modders and non-modders.

The AC Ryan Studio at Regroup 14 will be hosted by Soefkenijn ft. Ribbi - the Belgian team of well-respected modders who recently won the Reader's Choice Award at Hardware.info Masters of Modding Contest held in Amsterdam.

A special modding area will be created at Regroup 14 where Soefkenijn ft. Ribbi will be busy at work on custom mod projects. We would like to welcome modders and pro-modders to lounge around in the modding area to discuss modding techniques, airbrushing, modding projects or simply watch the masters at work. Modders - we know you are there ;) ... if you feel the itch to get modding with AC Ryan Studio during Regroup 14, drop us an email contact @ acryan.com

Non-modders are welcome too. For a token fee, you can get your gear modded on the spot. To stimulate the custom modding scene, joint promotions will also be held with the shops at Regroup 14 to let the "masters of modding" give your newly purchased gear a custom look. Hint: Ribbi is "pretty good" at airbrushing Quake 4 logos & artwork ;)

This BETA version of AC Ryan Studio aims to test a modding event within a lanparty. It is being beta tested at Regroup 14 - a cool well-supported lanparty with the modders & gamers already registered. We'll also try out workshops, surveys, prizes to help us to understand what the modders and gamers want to do and see in a AC Ryan Studio event at a lanparty near you. About Soefkenijn ft. Ribbi - With a long-standing reputation in the Belgian modding scene, Soefkenijn & Ribbi has been a familiar name in the Belgian modding & lanparty scene. They have been holding workshops regularly at Lanpartys in the last 3 years doing their part in promoting modding. Soefkenijn is an expert in cutting up casings while Ribbi's airbrushing skills has raised many eyebrows. AC Ryan is proud to welcome Soefkenijn ft. Ribbi.
