"The thing also worth noting is the fact it was two sided, this meant the light inside was bounced back (thus making the inside brighter) which gave the light coming through a boost. This for me shows me even more modding potential for this product. As always A.C Ryan have released a product that the modding community will love and in my belief even those that don’t like side windows would like the mirror effect still, even with no lighting. Ryan. The design is top-notch, and the enclosure is solidly built. The options for USB and eSATA connections are great for versatility, and the option of using an IDE or SATA hard drive make it cost-effective. No longer are users required to buy separate enclosures for each type of drive. The only downside I saw to the AluBoxTFX was the use plastic endcaps, but they were obviously used to elimate costs. The quality of the rest of the unit is superb, and nothing short of what users have come to expect from A.C. Ryan. Thought performance is not the best of the test group, it is still at or above average. Overall, the AluBox TFX is a versatile external enclosure, complete with quality and style."
